As we outlined in our post last August announcing the acquisition of Shadowpriest.com, one of our great loves is Blizzard’s wildly successful online game World of Warcraft.
One area of opportunity that we’ve had as we’ve grown out the Shadowpriest.com community was our lack of any dedicated resources or forums for healers.
We’ve now filled that gap with our acquisition of Lightnatured.com from its founder Joshie St. John.
Lightnatured is a forum site dedicated to educating all healing classes in World of Warcraft - from resto Shamans to Holy Pallys.
And, like Shadowpriest.com, the site has a great site of moderators and contributors that have helped to make Lightnatured what it is today.
We’re looking forward to growing this site and community in the weeks ahead!
Last year we acquired the World of Warcraft focused site shadowpriest.com - known as the leading expert site for the “Shadowpriest” class in the game.
With only minor modifications to the site’s marketing and some strategic work securing partners and links elsewhere, we’ve seen a strong growth in traffic on the site.
We’re looking forward to implementing a new design on the site in the near future and finally incorporating advertising as well.
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve acquired Telegraphik, a blog and newswire focused on Web 2.0 publishing from Gold Creek LLC.
Telegraphik was launched by David Krug who quickly built it into a well known online property. Whether it was discussing whether or not bloggers needed a union or looking at the latest star coming off of Youtube, Telegraphik was right in the middle of it.
We’re looking forward to continuing along the same path with Telegraphik - with news and commentary that matters.
Just as we did with our acquisition of Shadowpriest.com, we’re looking to acquire other World of Warcraft sites.
We prefer active forums and/or wikis but we would be open to other content based websites as well.
Contact us if you have a WoW site that you may be looking to part with.
