We’re excited to announce the addition of Marie Strawser to Bryghtpath as a Principal.
Marie brings more than twenty years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, and enterprise risk to her new role at Bryghtpath.
Marie joins us from Ameriprise Financial where she was most recently Senior Manager, Business Continuity. She spent eleven years at Ameriprise leading a significant portion of the business continuity lifecycle for the organization, including global responsibilities for Ameriprise India.
Prior to Ameriprise, Marie held a number of progressively responsible positions in business continuity at US Bank and Target. She began her career at Ernst & Young, where she served as a Senior Advisor on their risk practice team designing and implementing business continuity and crisis management programs.
Marie is the co-founder of the Upper Midwest Security Alliance (UMSA) and presently serves as their managing director. UMSA is a non-profit organization that holds the Secure 360 conference, a regional multi-disciplinary security conference spanning information security, physical security, business continuity, and audit. Secure 360 has been held annually in the Twin Cities since 2006.
Marie is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).
Marie holds a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a Masters of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Saint Thomas, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.
