In Exercise in a Day, the experts at Bryghtpath will create a custom tabletop exercise scenario for you over a single day that you can then either facilitate & evaluate internally, or you can have Bryghtpath facilitate the exercise virtually or on-site.
Custom Exercise Scenario
- Bryghtpath will create a custom tabletop exercise scenario consisting of three major “moves” and supporting injects that can be used throughout the exercise.
- The exercise will be built in a branded Microsoft Powerpoint template that meets your company’s branding guidelines.
- The exercise is designed to be facilitated from start to finish within a 2-hour timeframe, including a brief kickoff and an after-action/lessons learned “hot wash” discussion following the exercise.
Custom Facilitation Guide
- Bryghtpath will create a customized facilitation guide for use by the exercise facilitator, observer(s), and evaluator(s) that explains step by step our best practices for facilitating, observing, and evaluating the exercise.
- The custom facilitation guide will include a complete exercise script from start to finish, a guide to leading the discussion for each exercise move, and an indexed list of injects that can be inserted throughout the exercise based upon actions taken by the participants.
Custom Exercise Communications Plan w/ Pre-Written Messaging
- Bryghtpath will create a customized exercise communications plan with pre-written messaging that can be used before and after the exercise to ensure your participants are prepared in advance and informed of the lessons learned after the exercise.
- Our communications plan includes pre-written emails and other collateral to help prepare your participants and keep other stakeholders informed.
- We also provide access to an animated video explainer that helps prepare your exercise participants for the upcoming exercise. Custom videos can be added to your Exercise in a Day package at an additional charge.
After-Action Guide + Survey
- Bryghtpath will provide an after-action guide for your facilitator to lead your participants by capturing key lessons learned from the exercise.
- We’ll provide a template for an after-action survey to send to your participants to capture more in-depth feedback following the exercise.
- We’ll provide a branded template for your after-action report that you can use to memorialize the lessons learned from your crisis exercise and share internally with your stakeholders.
